In 2023, Ben Miller became the first-ever stand-up comedian to be selected as an artist-in-residence at Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. This might have been a brilliant idea… or a terrible mistake!

In this one-of-a-kind comedy show, scientist-turned-comedian Ben Miller dives into volcanology, entomology, Hawaiian history, cats, cookies, and much more – all with his signature sharp wit. And yes, that photo is real. Ben has made people laugh in front of a lava lake, so he’s definitely not afraid of you!

✨ Who is Ben Miller?
🔹 A scientist-turned-comedian from NYC with 8 years of experience on stage.
🔹 Has performed at top comedy clubs like Broadway Comedy Club, Carolines, and The Stand.
🔹 Once ranked as the #1 roast battler in NYC.
🔹 Holds a degree in Materials Science and Engineering, has worked on a science bus, 3D-printed cookies, and even diffused bar fights while on stage!

In 2022, his debut solo show, Stand-Up Science, had a completely sold-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Since then, he has been touring internationally – and now, he's coming to Iceland!
